If you have never practiced yoga before, this is a class for you. Even if you have experience, it is also a class for you. In Bikram Yoga there are no levels. We all practice the same sequence. During your first classes your goal is to stay in the classroom for 90 minutes. Once you manage to adapt to the heat, you will begin to move more smoothly and with confidence.
Bikram Yoga is a sequence of 26 hatha yoga postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (pranayama) created by Bikram Choudhury. Through the practice of Bikram Yoga you will work every part of your body systematically giving your internal organs, veins, arteries, joints, ligaments, muscles, cells and neurons what they need to achieve their maximum function and optimal health. The sequence will help you get a proper weight, tone your muscles and a real sense of a healthy and vibrant life.
You must wear light and comfortable clothes to practice: Clothing with which you can sweat and stretch. For example, shorts, sleeveless tops or polo shirts.
