The state-of-the-art 12,400 square foot spa designed by Sarah Garcia, a renowned Dominican architect, features 10 tranquil therapy room and three outdoor oceanfront treatment gazebos set over a tropical pond with soothing waterfalls. The indoor treatment rooms include two private couples’s therapy rooms with couple Jacuzzis and terraces facing the ocean. Exclusive couples’ treatment rooms and packages are available.
When designing the spa, Garcia studied the ancient practice of Feng Shui. The name "Bagua" comes from a concept of Feng Shui. The Bagua is traditionally represented in the shape of an octagon. Each facet of the octagon is called a "gua" and is assigned at least one of life's aspects, such as Prosperity, Family, Career Path and Life Path, etc.
